There are so many sights, sounds, tastes and smells along the coast of Maine. I entered active duty on April 10, 1942; and received orders: “Proceed on April 22 to Camp Lee Va.” I left Bangor, Me. on that day with my Model A Ford in a mild snowstorm, stayed at Camp Lee about a week, then ordered to Camp Polk La. Instead of meeting at Joyce’s Restaurant in Hallowell, METFP invites people, free of charge, to join them at Colby Museum of Art, on Colby Campus in Waterville. This event will take place on July 21, 2016 at 2 PM. METFP Alice Andermann, certified museum docent will lead us on a tour of the new Picasso exhibit. We will meet at the museum café at 2 PM.
